Getting the most out of Motif takes some quick, easy steps of setup. Follow the steps below to make sure your browser and plugins are configured correctly before you get started.

Use a supported browser

Motif works in the following browsers:

• Google Chrome

• Microsoft Edge

Enable graphics acceleration

⚠ This step is important. Motif uses WebGL for 3D rendering. Without hardware graphics acceleration enabled, models may load slowly, display incorrectly, or not appear at all.

Install the Revit or Rhino plugin

If you're streaming models directly from Revit or Rhino, you'll need to install the Motif plugin for those applications → 📄 Install the Motif Plugin (Revit & Rhino)
