Make videos from images
Last updated: April 24, 2026
Motif can turn a single rendered image into a short video, adding movement and life to your visualizations. Like image rendering, it works with or without a prompt.
How it works
Without a prompt, Motif automatically generates an 8-second sequence with a movement it decides
With a prompt: You can guide the type of movement or camera behavior
Start from a rendered image, not a raw model view. Motif recommends making videos from already AI-rendered images rather than original views. The rendered image gives the AI more visual information to work with, and the output is closer to what you'll actually want to present.
Start by selecting your rendered image to render into a video:

Select your preferred AI model:

Choosing the right AI Model:
Runway Gen4 Turbo | Great for creating a mood with maximum ambience and details |
Veo 3.1 | Great for creating camera movement, such as panning, zooming, fly-through etc. |
Veo 3.1 Fast | Same as Veo 3.1 above, but prioritizes speed of rendering over detail for quicker rendering |
💡Try a variety of prompts. Movement direction, speed, and camera behavior can all be influenced through the prompt.
