How to retrieve Motif app logs

When encountering issues in the Motif app (app.motif.io), it's helpful to send the development team logs from the browser console.

Here's how:

Console logs

  1. In the browser's ... menu, click More Tools -> Developer Tools

    1. Or use shortcut Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + I

    2. Click the "Console" tab if it's not already open

  2. Screenshot as much of the console output as you can and share with Motif support

Network logs

  1. In the browser's ... menu, click More Tools -> Developer Tools

    1. Or use shortcut Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + I

    2. Click the "Network" tab if it's not already open

  2. Reload the app or retry the operation with the Network tab open
