RESOLVED: Motif plugin causing Revit to crash on open

Overview

A recent Microsoft Windows system component update is causing Autodesk Revit 2023–2025 to crash on open when affected plugins are installed. This issue affects Revit plugins that render using CEF and is not isolated to this plugin alone.

This issue has been addressed and is now resolved.

The crash behavior previously described was related to a broader Autodesk Revit / Windows component compatibility issue (details here) affecting certain plugins that use Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF).
