Motif Comments Appearing on Revit PDF Exports

Recommended: Use Revit's Export to PDF

The most reliable way to export sheets without comments is to use Revit's native PDF export function:

1. In Revit, go to File > Export > PDF

2. Configure your export settings as needed

3. Export your sheets—comments will not appear on the PDF

Alternative: Hide Comments Before Printing

If you prefer to use the Print method, you can hide all comments before exporting:

1. In your Revit view, click the eyeball icon to hide comments

2. Go to File > Print

3. Select Microsoft Print to PDF (or your preferred PDF printer)

4. Complete the print-to-PDF process

5. Click the eyeball icon again to re-enable comments in your view
