Use files and skills with the agent

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Point the agent at your project documents, run saved skills, and understand where the files you share in a thread, and the ones the agent creates, end up.

Reference a Project Context document with @

Project Context is where your team keeps the material that should inform the project: the client brief, specifications, standards, site photos, and other documents and text. Anything in Project Context is available to the agent.

To point the agent at a specific document:

  1. In the agent panel, type @.

  2. Choose the document from the list.

  3. Finish your request, for example "Check this layout against @Tenant Standards."

The @ list only shows documents uploaded to Project Context.

Run a skill with /

A skill is a saved procedure the agent can run again.

  1. In the agent panel, type /.

  2. Choose the skill from the list.

  3. Add any notes for this run, then send.

Files you add to a thread stay in that thread

You can drag images and documents straight into the agent chat, like a floor plan to trace or a reference photo for a rendering style.

Files you add this way, and anything the agent generates (like renderings), live in that thread. They aren't saved to Project Context or the Content Library. That means:

  • Other threads can't see them.

  • Teammates won't find them in Project Context.

💡 Want the agent to use a document across threads? Upload it to Project Context instead of the chat, then reference it with @ whenever you need it.

Keep the files you create

To keep reference images and agent-generated renderings with the project:

  • Place them on a sheet so they're part of your drawing set or presentation.

  • Download them to your computer or file server.

  • Save them to cloud storage through the agent's connectors, such as OneDrive.

If you replace an image in your model and want the old one back later, you can find it in the model's history.
