Changes to AI Renderings in Motif

We're making some adjustments to how AI renderings work in Motif to ensure reliability even during peak usage.

Some of these changes are temporary as we work through capacity limitations with our rendering provider, while others are permanent to ensure fast, stable rendering for all Motif customer.

Temporary changes

• Motif will now generate 1 rendering instead of 3

  • You can now choose the number of renderings you'd like to generate

• Motif will no longer offer the 4k resolution option in the rendering toolbar

  • ℹ You can still upscale renderings to 4k by following these steps

• Motif may take longer to generate renderings when usage is high

Permanent changes

• Motif will generate renderings at 1k resolution by default

  • ℹ You can still upscale renderings to 4k by following these steps

Workarounds

• Failures should be less likely with these changes, but you can try re-rendering if you do encounter a failure

• If you notice a rendering taking too long, try refreshing - it might have finished but didn't update properly in Motif. We're investigating this.
